Haunting Howls of a Neurodivergent, Trans-Wolf Writer

Breathing in, breathing out, she

forever remains buried alive.

My breath echoes her smothering, my

once coerced complicity.

We coauthored her extinction, tethered

her remains to the past.

We resurrected her, a living ghost of

haunting estrangement.

Our spell invoked performed worry,

dashed dreams, whispered nightmares,

mourning.

We eulogized the living and buried the

mad in loneliness.

I could lay my sins at Youth's feet.

Would that partial truth set me free?

Maybe it's best to lay to rest my soul

possessed without contest,

Hold tight folds wrinkled, conscience

cleared by repentance, not bold

bluster.

Bravado holds little sway when her

living ghost still roams today.
