Entombed,
trapped in body,
this mind - not mine? - claws for
escape.
Noises, voices shackle me with numb
detachment.
Void mind, now buffeted by time,
fleeting thoughts
both alive and dead -
Jarred out of my coerced reverie, I
cling tight to
the footholds of your question.
Lucid,
loosened lips speak -
no, mimic a pleasant reply both mine
yet not.
For my mechanical body-mind-soul has
left Here for
Nowhere,
This empty husk chained to purgatory
stasis.
Unearth me from this ice cold grave,
take my frozen
hand.
